About Me

     

     Hi! I am so excited to join the marvelous first grade team as an Instructional Assistant this year. Previously, I worked at Microsoft in their Internal Technical Education Department before I "retired"  to raise my beautiful daughters.

 

     Once they started school at St. Louise, I headed back into the classroom as a substitute IA at St. Louise, Bellevue, and Lake Washington School District. After a few years, I decided to jump into the world of PreK as an IA. First, at a preschool in Redmond and then (for the past three years) on the wonderful PreK Team at St. Louise. When our youngest daughter graduated from STL, this past June, I decided to take on a new challenge and rejoined my initial PreK class at STL, who are now amazing first graders.

 

     There are many favorite parts of my day. I especially love my one-on-one work with the first graders during our daily reading groups and recess, which truly is an extension of the classroom and where many social and emotional skills are developed. St. Louise School is truly an amazing community that I am blessed to be a part of!
