About the Teacher
Mike Fuerte has been at St. Louise since 2001. This is his second year as Principal after being Vice Principal for six years, teaching 5th grade for eight years and serving St. Louise as a before and after school supervisor for Kids Club as well as a Kindergarten Instructional Assistant. He graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Cellular Molecular Biology and received his Masters in Teaching Degree from City University in 2007. Mr. Fuerte obtained his Principal Certification and Educational Specialist Degree from Seattle University in June 2015. Mr. Fuerte grew up in Catholic schools and attended St. George for Kindergarten and St. Louise from 1st grade through 6th grade. Mike likes to spend time with family and friends. He enjoys traveling and golfing.
