How to Submit Volunteer Hours

 

 

Saint Louise School uses an application called TrackItForward to sign up for volunteering opportunities as well as to log the required 40 hours per family per year.

Anyone can sign-up to volunteering at TrackItForward but in order to log your hours your family will need to have an account. Your family will have one account - only one primary guardian will enter the hours for the family. Primary Guardians will use the primary email address you have provided to the school for communications.

On the events page, you will see on-going volunteer opportunities i.e. Recess Duty, Library, Office, etc. which have no specific date.  You will also see a list of upcoming one-time volunteer opportunities in a calendar format.

When you sign-up for an event, you will be presented with the following options:

If you are the primary guardian for the family, you can set your password by clicking on “Forgot Password? Reset it”.  You will be sent an email allowing you to set the password for your account.  Your account will then be your email address on file with the school. If you are not the primary guardian, such as a grandparent or student volunteer, you will want to click “Sign-up without an account”.  You will then enter your name and email and any notes you want to pass to the organizer of that selected event. Please let the primary guardian of your family know of your hours so they can be recorded into the family account.

 

Once a user has signed up for an event, the event organizer will be notified.

Using the Mobile App

If you are the primary guardian responsible for logging the family’s 40 hours, you may want to download the app onto your phone.  To find the app in the Apple Store or Google Play, you will search on “Track It Forward” or “Volunteer Time Tracking”. Look for the app with the following icon:

You can then log in with your account and easily log hours under the “Log Hours” section.  You are able to log hours either on the website or from the app.

Please remember that each family is required to complete 40 hours of volunteering each school year (July-June) or pay $26 per hour in lieu of completing the hours.
