Early Childhood at St. Louise
At St. Louise School, our Early Childhood Program provides a warm, engaging beginning to a child’s school experience. Through our Preschool and Pre-K programs, children build confidence, curiosity, independence, friendships, and a love of learning in an environment rooted in Catholic faith and community.
Our Early Childhood Program is an integral part of St. Louise Parish School. Preschool and Pre-K follow the St. Louise school calendar and regular school-day schedule, providing a structured, developmentally appropriate educational experience rather than a daycare model. From their very first days on campus, our youngest learners are part of the broader St. Louise School community.
Our Programs
Preschool
Our Preschool program offers a nurturing first school experience where children learn through purposeful play, exploration, creativity, and relationships with teachers and peers.
- Children must be at least 3 years old by August 31 of the year they begin the program.
- Students must be fully potty trained before the school year begins.
- Half-day and full-day options are available.
- Learning supports social-emotional development, language and early literacy, independence, creativity, and foundational skills.
Pre-Kindergarten
Our Pre-K program builds on early learning experiences while helping children develop the academic, social, and emotional skills that prepare them for a confident transition to Kindergarten.
- Children must be 4 years old by August 31 of the year they begin the program.
- Half-day and full-day options are available.
- Hands-on learning integrates early literacy, mathematics, science, social studies, faith formation, and creative expression.
- Students build independence, problem-solving skills, communication, and confidence as learners.
