About Me

This is my 20th year teaching Spanish in the greater Seattle area. I am native to Seattle and was born and raised in Kirkland, Washington. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree from Central Washington University in Law and Justice, I started studying Spanish, and went on to receive a post-baccalaureate in Spanish at the University of Washington. My studies of Spanish have included homestays in other countries, in Peru, Guatemala and elsewhere.

Currently I am working on a M. ED in Learning and Technology, from Western Governor’s University. This is exciting to learn new tools and skills to utilize in the classroom. Aside from teaching, I love to travel, work in the yard, walk the dog, and relax at the beach, and be with my 10-year-old son!
