About Me

I am so excited to be joining the St. Louise community as the school counselor. I grew up on Mercer Island and attended Forest Ridge School of the Sacred Heart. I earned my bachelor’s degree from Seattle University and my M.A. in Marriage and Family Counseling from Seattle Pacific University. Catholic education shaped me deeply.

I have worked in mental health and social services since 2016 and have four years of experience providing school-based therapy services in public schools. My career began with Catholic Community Services, supporting youth in foster care and their families. In 2022, I opened Calming Reins Counseling, where I offer equine-assisted therapy, individual and group counseling, and evidence-based approaches like DBT. I’m passionate about partnering with students, families, and school teams to build resilience, teach coping strategies, and support students’ emotional and academic growth.

I live on a farm in Woodinville with my two beloved dogs, Señor Pablo the chihuahua and Winston the goldendoodle. Bears and other wildlife often wander through the property, which keeps life interesting! My horse, Hero, lives nearby, and I ride regularly. I’m an avid Formula 1 fan, swimmer, and reader. I’m the youngest of four and feel lucky to have my parents, siblings, and five nieces and nephews all close by. My faith is at the heart of all I do, and I feel so grateful to be part of the St. Louise community.
