Kids' Club (Before & After School Program)

Kids’ Club is our before and/or after-school program for St. Louise students in K-8th at the Lavelle Center/Gymnasium. Kids' Club is dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing environment for children of working parents.
NEW FOR THE 2024-25 SCHOOL YEAR - Pre-K After School Care (after school until 5:45 pm)
Pre-K After School Care will be available daily, led by two supervisors in our dedicated Pre-K wing. Activities will include crafts, games, story time and outside play. Rest time and snack will be provided.
Hours of operation:
- Before school:
- 7:00-8:15 a.m. Mondays - Fridays
- After school:
- 2:00-5:45 p.m. on Mondays
- 3:00-5:45 p.m. Tuesdays - Fridays
Our goal is to ensure a smooth transition between Kid's Club and the school day. Activities are designed to spark academic interests, physical fitness and nurture social-emotional growth. We also provide assistance to ensure your children have enough time to complete their homework. Kids’ Club is under the direction of the school and follows the same policies and procedures of the school in regards to student behavior and parent expectations.
Homework/Reading Time (Mondays - Thursdays):
- Grades K - 3rd, 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
- Grades 4th - 8th, 4:00 p.m. - 4:45 p.m.
This is a school teacher-supervised time after school for students to work on homework in a quiet and supportive atmosphere. Students who do not have homework are encouraged to read or engage in other academic activities such as math games.
St. Louise Kids’ Club needs the cooperation of all parents with children enrolled in order to help make the program a positive, enriching environment. If you have recommendations, concerns, or questions, please speak directly to the school administration or the Kids’ Club director.
