About Me
Mrs. Lavina Goveas
Preschool Instructional Assistant
Hi. I am Mrs. Lavina Goveas. Before making the United States our home in 2015, I, alongside my husband, Johnson, lived in India, where I worked as a certified Nurse, specializing as a School Health Nurse. In 2018, when we enrolled our son Jerrel in Kindergarten at St. Louise, our family began a beautiful journey with this community. Watching him grow and thrive here, along with Jenelia, our daughter, I can truly attest to the nurturing and close-knit environment St. Louise offers.
At St. Louise, I have worked in after school Kids’ Club as Assistant Director and now, I proudly serve as a Preschool Instructional Assistant. This role allows me to channel my passion for early childhood education, ensuring that every child has a seamless transition into their foundational years of learning.
Beyond work, my heart is deeply invested in arts and crafts, and I love infusing creativity into the classroom. I am an active participant in various school volunteering activities and take immense pride in being part of the St. Louise family.
I am enthusiastic about imparting knowledge in a Catholic context, nurturing both the spiritual and academic sides of our young learners. It is a privilege to guide them on their journeys.
