K - 5 P.E.

 
K - 5 meets two day per week.
  • One of the days will be activity/skill development and the other day will be a fitness lesson.
K - 5 will participate in at least 1 vigorous fitness activity/workout per week.
  • Music and dance parties are activities/lessons that all Physical Education students will  also enjoy. Finally, all PE students are expected to be prepared for class by bringing their PE shoes/uniform, respect the learning environment, and always give their best effort!
K - 3 will focus primarily on skill development.
  • We will use stations and fun cooperative games that will develop hand/eye and eye/foot coordination, balance posture orientation, and spatial awareness.
4 - 5 will focus more on team sport units.
  • Units such as speedball, basketball, volleyball, football passing game, and frisbee golf will be several of the units covered.
