Girls Who Code https://girlswhocode.com was founded to introduce girls to coding and close
the gender gap in STEM fields (Science/Technology/Engineering/Math).
This club has room for 15 girls attending St. Louise in grades 3-5
Each week there will be a new topic for the girls to discover.
This club will cover some programming basics and touch on website design, wearables, and game development.
Although there is no charge to join a Girls Who Code program, we will need to assess a nominal fee ($35) for each student to join our St. Louise club to cover the room usage fee that our school typically charges outside organizations, such as Chess Club and Smart with Art.
(If your family needs a scholarship,
please contact Maria Zambrano at email@example.com.)
If you have questions about the Girls Who Code club or would be willing to volunteer as an assistant for one or more of the class sessions, please reach out to Tara Maloney (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Shannon Stevens (email@example.com).
